About UsBrent Pemberton has used hand exercise devices since 1978. Over the years, he experimented with various ones, but found that each had it's own set of design flaws. In 1993, Brent decided to design his own. He eventually began to work with natural rubber. After much trial and error, he determined that the use of a circular design provided the best results because it allows for the same resistance each time you squeeze it! He shared his prototype with some friends and, because of their results, they urged Brent to offer his design to the public. "I hang one on my turn signal and keep one at my desk at the office. I use it when I sit in traffic. Most importantly, the Benji T. Gripster is a great exerciser for the grip and forearm. It offers therapeutic value to people that spend a lot of time working on computers. It also improves your golf grip!" "Originally, the design was going to be named 'The Gripster.' My youngest
son, Benji Timothy Pemberton, always liked to use the expression, 'LET'S
GET A GRIP!' Benji was hit by a car and killed in April 2000. He was only
19 years old. So, I decided to change the name to 'Benji T. Gripster'
in honor of my son." As Benji would always say, 'Let's get a grip!' " Thank you, |
